Research into band/artists other marketing and promotions

Printed Marketing:
I have noticed that when the band first brought out their album they had to follow an image so that the audience could relate to one another (most bands use the same image or an image that is presented on their CD Cover, Poster and any other Printed Advert or even on a Television Commercial) and as you can see by the following two images below, The Gallows followed exactly this way of marketing so that their audience could recognise this band by one image used on all of their media.

If you notice, the band have used the same image, typeface and colour to represent both items to be related to The Gallows, if these images were completely different then it would be harder for the consumer (that being the audience/fans of the gallows) to establish which image is the dominating image that represents the band as a whole. So the band want to make it as simple as possible to save any confusions.
